Supply, calibration, and repair of BC Biomedical testers and analysers for hospitals, biomedical engineers, service providers, and healthcare facilities — ensuring precise, reliable equipment assessment.
U-Tech Medical is the Australian distributor for BC Biomedical test equipment and patient simulators, representing, supplying, servicing and calibrating their specialised testers for over 10 years. BC Group International is a leading global provider of biomedical test equipment, and their BC Biomedical brand covers a full line of instruments used by biomedical engineers and technicians across Australian healthcare.
Biomedical test equipment is only as reliable as its last calibration. If the analyser you’re using to verify patient equipment is itself out of calibration, your compliance records are built on faulty data. U-Tech keeps your test instruments within specification and your records traceable — so every assessment you carry out can be relied upon.
BC Biomedical Equipment Supply

| Australian Standards | |
|---|---|
| AS/NZS 3551 | Medical Equipment Management: Biomedical test equipment used for compliance testing must itself be calibrated and traceable |
| ISO 9001 | Quality Management Systems: U-Tech's ISO 9001 certification covers our calibration and service processes |
| NATA Traceability Requirements | Calibration should be traceable to national measurement standards |

Annual calibration is standard for most biomedical test equipment, and is a requirement under AS3551 for instruments used in compliance testing programs. U-Tech can advise on the appropriate interval for your specific instruments based on usage and manufacturer recommendations.
Yes. A calibration certificate is issued on completion of each calibration, recording the instrument’s performance against traceable reference standards. This certificate is the evidence required to demonstrate traceability of your test instruments under AS3551 and your ISO 9001 quality management obligations.
Yes. If calibration reveals an out-of-specification result, we diagnose the cause, advise on the cost of repair, and carry out the repair before re-calibrating and issuing a new certificate.
Our primary specialisation is BC Biomedical equipment, for which we have full factory support as Australian distributor. For other biomedical test instruments, contact us to discuss your requirements and we’ll advise on what we can support.
